I think that perhaps the single most significant thing about Trump that I hate is his Narcissism. It is that which seems to be at the root core of every thing else he does that is so detrimental to America and ALL OF US.
Leadership SHOULD be that you take into account first an formeost the needs of the people you are in place to serve. NOT the other way around. You consider always the benefits to those under you FIRST rather than yourself and the guiding principle whether in business or politics is that if you serve others well you will by doing so serve yourself well also.
But the Narcissistic tendencies of Trump make that virtually impossible. He has to ALWAYS in his mind appear strong, dominant. He is Autocratic by nature which is the antithesis of a true democrat, small d.
The Narcissist cannot ever admit to failings, or be viiewed by others as wrong or flawed. They always seek to be seen as THE BEST, THE GREaTEST, THE ULTIMATE in EVERY THING they do which of course is ludicrous because NOBODY is that no matter how versatile or ambitious or striiving.
TRUMP WILL NEVER VHANGE. NOT ESPECIALLY AT HIS AGE, BUT EVEN YOUNGER. THIS IS WHO HE IS. PERIOD and his vrtually DESPERATE NEED to serve himSELF makes serving others impossible. He has no empathy for others. He cannot see their pain and genuinely feel for them. It is not in him.
To put by accident or by design someone like this in the White House is about as detrimental to American Democracy as it gets and as SOON as it was clear that this is who Trump is he should have been quietly removed. Legally and fairly, but removed nonetheless. TO NOT do so makes those who support him accoplices in his destructive penchants for our nation. TO NOT DO SO is an affront to anyone and everyone who hold this country dear, and is a big raised middle finger to our founding fathers.
TRUMP NEEDS TO BE GONE, BUT SO DO THE SIMPERING SYCOPHANTS LIKE THE REPUBLICANS IN CONGRESS WHO ENABLE HIM FOR THEIR OWN REASONS BASED ON THEIR OWN AGENDAS AND NOT THE NEEdS OR BEST INTERESTS OFTHE AMERICAN PEOPLE.
THINK TWICE before you vote. THINK TWICE before you elect people who would destroy America. Government...no matter whose...is never perfect. It is a constant evolutionary process and requires wide partiipation to get it and keep it functional EVERY VOTING-AGE AMERICAN has ar responsibiolity to speak up and be heard and VOTE. Checks and balances and back and forth and rigourous debate are always necessary and what our founding fathers intended from the gitgo. THIS FROM ALL SIDES is what counts and the current CONSTANT ASSAULT on the constitutional framework of our Republic from Trump and his minions is doing untold damage. DEEMDHow permanent remains to be seen.
DEMOCRACY BY DESIGN SHOULD BE BASED ON WHAT IS BEST GOR THE GREATEST NUMBER OF PEOPLE...HANG the perverts who would subvert that for their own selfish agendas. We do NOT need Conserviver (or Liberal for that mtter) judges. We need FAIR-MINDED jurists who will follow the law as written for the greater good.
NOT by one side deciding they should ALWAYS BE IN TOTALCONTROL...and it is THEIR way or the hightway. THEY should be shown the door, given the boot and kicked down that highway to wherever..
I Pray to God that some sanity will be restored come 2020 if not sooner and we once again become the kind of nation we have always aspired to be...WE NEEDTHAT.
